The Aftermath~
I was so proud my body withstood a week of viral and bacterial rampage, without having to fall out of Sports Camp(and being the 1st programmer to do so, haha), but having to suffer the consequences of enduring sickness for so long now. Sports camp is finally over, and yes it brought back many memories when i was a freshie. The only difference is that the programmers do not enjoy the camp the way the freshies do. We enjoy each others presence in the midst of suffering and toil. We enjoy the fruits of our labour. We enjoy the willingness of others to come forward to help despite our tiredness. In the completion of the camp, some may feel lost, some may look forward to to SU15, while others will feel confused. I feel that life has to move on, and in doing so, am preparing for the next wave to come, the WUG wave. One that will not hit me as hard as the SU14 wave i presume.
Supposedly, this week is a week of rest and preparation, but it seems unlikely to be one. Activities and meet ups have already stated to fill the moderately packed week, and soon, it will be one that is so recognisable on my schedule.
